Yes, you may notice a speed decrease when using a VPN. With KYHIP, your speed is limited by your home Internet UPLOAD speed, since all traffic is routed through your home Internet connection, and also by the hardware performance of your chosen KYHIP package.

In almost all cases, the speed decrease will not be noticeable when using KYHIP, and you will be able to do everything on the Internet as you would back at home.

With KYHIP, you don't share your bandwidth with anyone else, so you will always have consistent VPN speed.

KYHIP provides you with an encrypted tunnel from the travel router to the server router. By connecting to your travel router, all your devices will appear to be located in your home country, and you will be able to access country-specific services from outside of the country. KYHIP also provides you with secure access to your home network from anywhere. 

Your VPN server is hosted at your home and your VPN client always travels with you. This means the VPN infrastructure is completely owned and controlled by you. For the underlying Internet connection, you rely on your home ISP.

With traditional VPN providers, you connect to THEIR VPN server located in another country or a region. This means you need to trust them not to keep logs of your connections and traffic.

Additionally, with commercial VPN providers, your IP address is shared with other people, who may use it to perform illegal activity, and the IP is easily distinguished as a VPN service because it belongs to a datacenter.

With KYHIP, the VPN server is at your home. Nobody else except yourself has access to it. You don't share your own home IP address, and your IP address is always your home IP address, not a suspicious datacenter IP address.

Absolutely, KYHIP VPN is fully compatible with corporate VPNs and works seamlessly on top of them without requiring any software installation.

VPN software such as Palo Alto GlobalProtect and Cisco AnyConnect is fully supported.

This provides complete privacy protection, as your online activity remains intact, and no one can detect you're using KYHIP VPN.

1) You will need to have a public IP address on your home router provided by your Internet Service Provider. Please refer to the following link.

2) Your home Internet connection’s upload speed will really matter here and we advise at least 30Mbps. This is very important because your VPN download speed will be limited by your home connection upload speed.

No, but you need a public IPv4 address, which can be either static or dynamic.

Our VPN routers have a built-in dynamic DNS function, which will update the DNS record whenever your home IP address changes.

We will configure your VPN routers and your home ISP router to enable the VPN. You will be on the phone with us during the whole setup process. After the one-time remote session, we do not have access to your PC nor your VPN infrastructure anymore.

KeepYourHomeIP is not offering configuration on private devices.

Every country has a different stance on VPNs, and not all see them as favorable. Currently, a handful of governments either regulate or outright ban VPNs.
VPNs are regulated or illegal in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, Iran, Syria, Bahrain, Belarus, Cuba, Iraq, Myanmar, North Korea, Oman, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Uganda, Yemen, Venezuela, Qatar, Turkey, UAE, India, Russia and China.
Please note that KYHIP works in most of the countries where VPNs are regulated, but that might change.
KYHIP does NOT work in Egypt, Iran, North Korea and Uzbekistan. In Saudi Arabia, KYHIP might not work, or might require additional settings to work, depending on the ISP you are using.
KYHIP will work in China for a few weeks or months until it gets scanned and blocked, and you might require assistance from KYHIP support team to make it work again.
KYHIP currently works without problems in UAE, India, Turkey, Russia, Qatar and Pakistan.
For the other countries listed, we have no up to date reports.

Standard free shipping takes 5-7 business days to the EU and UK, Norway, Switzerland. For the USA, Canada and Australia, free shipping takes 7-10 business days.

Express shipping costs €20 extra, and takes 1-2 business days to the EU and UK, Norway, Switzerland, or 2-4 business days to the USA, Canada and Australia.

For the rest of the world we only offer the Express shipping option, with an expected delivery within 3-5 business days.

All KYHIP router packages come with a 1 year hardware warranty that includes free replacement of the faulty device.

Unfortunately, because the speed is limited by the hardware capabilities of the different routers we sell, upgrading at a later date is not possible. 

When you purchase a KYHIP package, you own the physical routers, as such we are unable to exchange the devices at a later date. You can upgrade by purchasing a new KYHIP package.

KYHIP does not have a call center, but you can easily reach us on support@keepyourhomeip.com. Our Support Team will answer your questions and solve your issues quickly and efficiently. If we cannot seem to resolve the matter/query over email, we can set up a call or remote session.
