    What is a DNS Leak Test?

    A DNS leak test helps determine if your network configuration is unintentionally leaking Domain Name System (DNS) information, potentially compromising your privacy. DNS translates human-friendly domain names (like www.example.com) into IP addresses for computer communication.

    1. Open the DNS leak test website and click on "Standard Test."
    2. Check the displayed country on the result page. If it differs from the country where your server router is located, a DNS leak may be present.

  • How to check my IP address?

    We recommend checking the IP address from a personal device connected to the VPN travel router.
    Once the connection is confirmed, open a new tab in your web browser and visit whatismyipaddress.com.
    The IPv4 result should show your IP address, and the ISP information should match your home ISP.

  • How to check if my laptop has a GPS tracker?

    The vast majority of computers do not have GPS hardware. Some do, and it’s integrated into the WWAN chip for using mobile data with a SIM card.

    You can open Device Manager in Windows and try looking under Sensors for a GPS device, and also you can search for a Broadband Card with GPS under USB or Network Devices.

    Such laptops are incredibly rare.

    Mac laptops don't have GPS sensors, and Apple has never produced models with GPS.

  • I accidentally pressed the hardware reset button for too long on my VPN router. My VPN stopped working, what should I do?

    If you accidentally held the hardware reset button too long and your VPN stopped working, log in to your KYHIP account and click “Unlock Auto-Configuration.” Make sure your VPN travel router is powered on, then connect it to an internet source (via Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi). The router will automatically reconfigure itself.

  • Will my employer know that I am using a VPN?
